We had the privilege last week to go to Hastings Girls' High School as our first visit of 2021! It was such a fun visit, the girls kept us on our toes with amazing questions and lots of energy. I reckon we even have some budding microbiologists among them! There was a lot of interest in what they could see under the microscope and what they could learn about kauri trees and kauri dieback. It was also cool to hear about all the other things these young ladies were interested! Many of the students are also incredible athletes, artists, and performers. A special thank you to Andrea Roberts for her amazing organizational skills in coordinating our visit. So lucky to start our tour with such a lovely and welcoming group.
Also a big thank you to our team! This was the first trip for Randy Lacey and Mike Fairhurst and they both were excellent. Also on this trip were Te Amohaere Ngata-aerengamate, Conrad Marsh and Monica Gerth, all veterans at this point and amazing as always.
We have three more classes booked for June, but are still taking bookings for later in the year! Head over to our contact page to book a visit for your school.
